The chat feature is at the heart of Ask Astro. It lets you ask questions and get AI-powered answers drawn from your connected data, documents, and knowledge base — all in one place. 

Different team members can post in the same conversation. This makes it easy for advisors and business leaders to collaborate in real time, with the AI providing context and insights to support the conversation.

Add watchlist items in chat

The system monitors your watchlist topics and alerts you when new developments emerge. It's a great way to stay on top of things that matter to your business without having to go looking for updates yourself.

Just ask to add a topic to your watchlist, and Astro take cares of it. For example, you could say:

• "Add AI regulation to my watchlist"
• "Watch for any developments in the NZ construction sector"
• "Monitor competitor activity for my company"

Create dashboards without the drama

Just tell Astro what you want to track, and it will build the dashboard for you. You don't need to configure anything yourself. For example, you could say:

• "Create a dashboard showing monthly revenue and expenses"
• "Build me a sales pipeline dashboard"
• "Set up a dashboard tracking website traffic by country"

Once a dashboard is created, you can ask it to:

• Update it — add or remove metrics, change filters or date ranges
• List all your existing dashboards
• Delete a dashboard you no longer need
